Timothy Kimani (Njugush) and Celestine Ndinda (Wakavinye) became one of Kenya’s most famous entertainment couples after meeting while studying at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication. Their friendship grew into a relationship, and they later married and built a family together. They are parents to two sons.
As Njugush’s comedy career grew, Wakavinye became an important creative partner behind many of their productions. Together they built a successful digital media brand, produced comedy content, and toured internationally with their “Through Thick and Thin” (TTNT) shows.
For years, many Kenyans viewed them as one of the country’s strongest celebrity couples because they openly shared parts of their journey from campus life, marriage, parenthood, and business growth.
In early 2026, rumors began circulating online that the couple had separated. The speculation increased after fans noticed fewer joint appearances and less shared content. In April 2026, Njugush publicly confirmed that they had parted ways the previous year. He stated that the decision was made with mutual respect and that they remained committed to co-parenting their children.
He has however affirmed the rumors of cheating allegations,stating that he indeed saw a CCtv footage which was sent to him on telegram,where Wakavinye was in company of her nail technician.
Njugush says that upon viewing the CCtv footage,he couldn’t believe his eyes on what he witnessed.
Speaking on a local podcast,Njugush says he felt so bad and he couldn’t believe his wife was being banged by the nail technician.
