Seeing this photo of Kenyan rapper Diana B warmly hugging her adopted son — the boy some claim is Wanyama’s son — instantly reminded me of a storybook I read years ago.
I can’t remember the exact title labda kwa ile Ngugi wa Thiong’o but the story went like this: A man tragically lost his wife and their only child in a terrible accident. Heartbroken, he later decided to adopt a young boy.
Some time passed, and he met a woman he fell deeply in love with. They got married, but despite their efforts, they never had any children of their own. This deeply frustrated and angered him. In his bitterness, he wrote a will leaving all his property to his adopted son.
To cut the story short, the man eventually died. His widow, now set to inherit nothing, became desperate. To secure her future, she went to extreme lengths — eventually marrying the young teenager (her late husband’s adopted son) so she could gain control of the inheritance.
Apparently the kid wrote this in his personal diary “Mama yangu anakaa mtamu,akinipea siwezi kataa,she looks sexy though !”.What do you think he meant??
