Former police officer Dennis Munyao, popularly known as Afande Denno, has embarked on a new journey after leaving the police service. Currently operating a boiled maize business in Imara Daima, Nairobi, Denno has become a familiar face among residents as he serves customers and interacts with people in the community.
His transition from law enforcement to entrepreneurship has attracted attention, with many Kenyans praising his willingness to embrace a new path and earn a living through business. Reports indicate that his maize-selling venture has also received support from members of the public.
Beyond business, Denno has also revealed his political ambitions. He has expressed interest in vying for the Imara Daima MCA seat in the 2027 General Election, saying his interactions with residents have given him firsthand understanding of issues affecting people at the grassroots level.
